We want your organization to succeed. We partner with you to design retreat and planning sessions, facilitate or work with an in-house facilitator, and provide workshops customized for you. Below are a sampling of some specific workshops we offer.

Coaching for Success
Leaders play a vital role in the development of their employees. They have the opportunity to serve in the role of coach in every day interactions. Many leaders accept this as sound common sense and have a genuine desire to play their part. For a variety of reasons, time, work pressures, or an unwillingness to break new ground, this desire is not converted to reality. Sometimes leaders feel that they do not have the expertise to master this role. This workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to define coaching, identify who is coached, look at the cycle of coaching and to practice a coaching conversation.

Communication Skills for Leaders
In this fast paced environment, we are bombarded with information. E-mail, Twitter, Linked-In, blogs, television, radio, meetings and other means of communication have many of us on information overload. All of this takes away from our ability to communicate effectively. Yet, the importance effective communication is critical. In this workshop, we will focus on who we listen to, what keeps us from listening, effective ways to listen, and the role of coaching as a means of giving effective feedback.

Communication and Building an Effective Group - DISC
Communication is an important part of contributing to the effectiveness of any group or team working together. Active listening, feedback and understanding different temperaments can lead to improved communication and productivity. This interactive session looks at who we listen to, different temperaments, and how to give and receive feedback using the DISC.

Mentoring
Mentoring programs, with their strong focus on coaching, are becoming increasingly valuable as a succession planning tool in organizations. This workshop will teach leaders how an effective mentoring program can provide significant benefits for both employees and organizations. Participants will learn the elements and characteristics of effective mentoring programs and how to implement a customized program in their organization.

Identifying Leadership Competencies for Your Organization
In today’s competitive world, organizations that are winning are winning because they are aligning their business strategies, functions and resources. This workshop explores changes in the nonprofit setting, identifies how leadership skills and behaviors have changed, describe what is meant by competencies and why they matter, and illustrate a model for identifying leadership competencies. Participants will practice a behavioral interview, explore ways to sustain a leadership culture and create an action plan for their organization.

Leaders Developing Leaders
This workshop focuses on the changes occurring in nonprofit organizations and the workforce today. Methods of assessing management teams, tips on holding a development conversation, and creation of an effective development plan are highlighted. Participants share successes in developing their own teams, and discuss ways to overcome barriers to creating a development environment.

Building Leaders at Every Level
Organizations are losing executives and with the loss is knowledge, experience, and understanding of industries in which they contributed. This workshop provides an understanding of building leaders at every level, explores the differences between leading and managing, and gives an opportunity to share leadership stories. Participants will learn methods to develop leaders and use of appropriate tools.

Re-Discovering Your Passion
Work is a challenge in keeping staff motivated, volunteers engaged and meet the demands of the organization. Many times leaders feel burned out from the day-to-day stress and lose their passion. This workshop assists in clarifying your passion and creating a personal mission statement for success.

What’s My Learning Style?
This interactive workshop provides an understanding of adult learning and different learning styles. Different styles have an impact on ways in which we communicate. Participants will reflect on their own learning style and learn how to communicate and delegate information based on understanding learning styles.

Emotional Intelligence
We can no longer just pat attention to process. We need to focus on emotional intelligence. We need to be able to "red" and understand the emotional side of employees. This workshop explores emotional intelligence and provides tools for understanding.

Conflict Resolution: How to Take the Anxiety Out of Conflict
Conflict is a necessary part of individual growth and organizational growth. Conflict can be productive if the anxiety is taken out of the situation. This workshop looks at how we react to conflict, what our own style of dealing with conflict is, and provides a method for facing conflict effectively.
