Reiki: Energy in Action
Energy is all around us. The rhythm of the seasons, the waves in the ocean or the air we feel from a gentle breeze are all forms of energy. Energy is all around us. Reiki energy is an ancient form of healing.
Reiki is energy in action and can create harmony and balance. Reiki is nourishing. Reiki is non-invasive. Reiki is a way to bring harmony and balance in maintaining health, relieving pain from chronic illness, cancer, addressing stress, or in assisting with life transitions.
Reiki is offered in 30, 45, 60 or 90 minute sessions. Depending on your situation, sessions may be once or multiple times. As a Reiki practitioner, I serve as the facilitator to assist with energy through light touch or without physcial contact. I offer Reiki in a beautiful setting in my home by the shores of the lake. I provide long-distance Reiki when it is not possible to meet one-on-one.
Trying to understand your dreams is similar to trying to decipher a foreign language. What looks and sounds like one thing may actually represent another. As an adjunct to the healing energy of Reiki or on its own, dream work can be used as a self-exploration tool to aid the creative process in solving life's challenges.
Understanding your dreams and their symbolic meanings can help guide you in your awake state. Your body, mind, and spirit are designed by nature to work together to create overall health and wellbeing. Paying attention to your dreams is a powerful way to tap into that innate wisdom. In my dream work with clients, my role is to help you discover what your dreams may be telling you, and explore how you might use that information to create a healthier life balance.

What Clients Say...
"In 2003, I was diagnosed with Alpha-One Antitrypsin deficiency, a genetic disorder that has caused my lung function to deteriorate. Today, 15 years after diagnosis, I have moderate to severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). When I climb stairs or walk up a slight incline, I quickly lose my breath and must stop to rest. This condition has led me to give up many of my hobbies; tennis, racketball, skiing, hiking, canoeing, and camping.
Three years ago I was introduced to the world of Reiki as a treatment for my condition. My Reiki therapist, Diane Dunton, treats me every two to three weeks. When I first arrive for a Reiki session it feels like I am breathing through a cocktail straw. After a 50-minute session, it feels like I am breathing through a garden hose. The stress and bodily tension released during a Reiki session allow me to be more productive at work. Recently, the sessions have helped support me as I recovered from a pulmonary embolism.
I am a huge advocate for incorporating Reiki into a treatment plan as a companion therapy to other treatments and a way of life!"
